Mynext app June 13, 2026 -- Here's another app we nurses need. Passing meds when I worked telemetry shifts at St. Rose, I got an idea for another app that I wished I'd had and maybe should develop. You'd select a med and it would tell you what to watch out for, e.g. withhold amlodipine if the BP is low. These are things nurses learn over years of practice. While I'm working towards those years, I want a shortcut or at least a hint. Of course, this is lawsuit bait. What if your patient died of something about which the app didn't warn? A disclaimer and hold-harmless would be essential and probably not enough. The two apps I did build also meet needs I felt strongly on nursing shifts: Time management (Nursemind) and accurate, complete patient assessments (NurseAssess). Is it time to build app #3?
