Yes, patients
August 12, 2015 -- Fascinating meeting today with Dr. Howard Landa, CMIO of Alameda Health System. He is implementing EHRs in their five-hospital system. Though his job is technology, his thinking is all about the patient. In describing the systems his team builds, he regularly refers back to what patients need, what they experience, and the quality of what's delivered to them.
